2、雕刻不同的材料須用不同的雕刻頭轉(zhuǎn)速，所以要注意雕刻頭電機(jī)的速度可調(diào)范圍，若速度不可調(diào)或速度可調(diào)范圍較小，就說明該雕刻機(jī)應(yīng)用范圍受到很大的限制。一般速度可調(diào)范圍是每分鐘幾千到三萬轉(zhuǎn)。

5、控制器一般也分為兩類：一類控制器只是做驅(qū)動，而其所有運(yùn)算工作由電腦來完成，在雕刻機(jī)工作時(shí)電腦處于等待狀態(tài)，無法進(jìn)行排版工作。另一類控制器采用單板機(jī)或單片機(jī)控制，這種控制器實(shí)際上就是一臺電腦，所以只要雕刻機(jī)一開始工作，電腦馬上就可以進(jìn)行其他排版工作，特別是較長時(shí)間雕刻時(shí)，該優(yōu)勢特別明顯。
